The Imagine the Magic Gala will attract 800 of Greater Toronto’s top ‘movers and shakers’, social conscious urban professionals who want to help gives kids with and affected by childhood cancer what they need – the chance to be kids! The evening celebrates the challenges our campers have overcome through inspiring testimonials shared over a pre-dinner cocktail reception, a gourmet sit down dinner and live auction. The evening also includes Ooch’s signature Paddle Project Auction, featuring canoe paddles artistically designed by famous artists and celebrities like Charles Pachter and Chris Hadfield. The Imagine the Magic Gala will raise an anticipated $1 million net. Funds raised enable Camp Ooch to provide magical camp experiences to kids with and affected by childhood cancer across Ontario.

On Wednesday, November 21, 2018, five of the country’s most brilliant and innovative minds came together in support of UforChange with “The Talk” – a live panel discussion with producer/director and advertising executive Barry Avrich, ELLE Canada Editor-in-Chief Vanessa Craft, fashion designer Mikhael Kale, and technology entrepreneur G. Scott Paterson; moderated by philanthropist and Mantella Corporation’s Chief Marketing Officer Sylvia Mantella and emceed by Dani Kagan of Stratus Events.
The event took place at Artscape Daniels Launchpad at 130 Queens Quay East in Toronto. The Talk’s provocative panel will uncovered how these creative leaders paved their unique path in their respective industries through unforgettable and inspirational stories of struggle and triumph. The event will bring together a diverse audience of Toronto’s most influential creators and business leaders with emerging artists and youth to be inspired by one another.

The Air Canada Foundation extends reach: enabling kids with challenges to reach their full potential, and enabling kids with complex medical issues to reach the right care. The Herbie Fund extends SickKids fight to make every kid a healthy kid to the world: bringing kids from around the globe to the hospital for life-changing surgeries. Humour Me is a charity event where a group of committed sponsors, brave CEOs and Canadian and international stand-up comics come together to raise money for youth-related charities. Humour Me applies a twist to the standard stand-up routine by bringing together both professional comedians and influential, high-profile amateurs to perform together. The focus of the event is raising funds to support organizations that deliver vital services to young people. The 10th annual Joe Carter Classic charity golf tournament pairs avid golfers with top name celebrities from the worlds of sport and entertainment.
